Query-time JOINs are a new capability leveraged by many user-facing real-time analytics nowadays. With Apache Pinot's new Multi-Stage Query Engine, we are now offering users a wider range of possible ways to gain insights from their data. In this talk we will delve into the world of JOINs, discuss various optimizations we added in Apache Pinot for running fast and efficient JOINs, and highlight the best use cases for query-time JOINs.
